We had the chance to enjoy delightful authentic taste of Sri Lanka in the heart of London. Maintains a balance of Sri Lankan flavours and spices in both Lamprise, Sri Lankan rice and curry. All dishes come in hot to the table and are beautifully presented.

I recently tried the Sri Lankan lamprais dish at Peacock Restaurant and Bar, and I was thoroughly impressed. This Lankan food is made with authentic Sri Lankan ingredients, perfectly cooked to capture the true taste of Sri Lanka. Each bite was a delightful experience, full of rich and aromatic flavors that transported me straight to Sri Lanka. As someone who grew up in Sri Lanka, I had an amazing experience enjoying Sri Lankan cuisine in London. The food truly feels like home. The customer service was exceptional, with authentic food that really tastes 'home-made.' The chicken curry and egg hoppers were especially great! Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. ; it was delicious. Highly recommend it!"

Enjoyed some great food here this evening. Tasty curry. Good spice level. Generous portion size. Guys serving were really attentive and friendly. £25 for two main meals, a side and two soft drinks was excellent value. Nice decor in the restaurant. Everything clean.

I’ve been a regular visitor to The Peacock London, and it never disappoints. They serve some of the best Sri Lankan authentic food in the city, with rich flavors and traditional recipes that truly capture the essence of Sri Lankan cuisine. The Lamp Rice is fantastic, perfectly spiced, well balanced, and packed with authentic flavors. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had in London. Beyond the food, the service is top-notch. A special mention to Sanjeewa, the manager, who always ensures a warm welcome and excellent service. The team is attentive, friendly, and makes every visit a wonderful experience. Whether you're craving a taste of home or exploring Sri Lankan cuisine for the first time, The Peacock London is a must-visit!

Sanjee was so amazing, the food was 10/10. We came as a family and finished every dish we ordered. Would go again and again here just for the lampraise it was so yummy. The service sanjee gave was excellent.

Delicious rice and curry. Very good spice level; great selection of curries. Great taste and for good price range. One of the best meals I’ve had in London and have been there three times in my stay. Would recommend.

I recently visited this newly opened restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed! Although their full menu isn’t ready yet, they already offer a wide variety of dishes, and there’s no shortage of delicious options to choose from. The service was absolutely outstanding 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and were incredibly attentive throughout our meal. They were always available to help, making sure we had everything we needed, and their reassurances made us feel so welcome. The chef, who is Italian, even came out to chat with us. He was not only talented but also very friendly and funny, which added a personal touch to the experience. As for the food, it was incredible! The pizza was Italian-style and absolutely delicious. We also tried an Indian-Sri Lankan dish, which was equally amazing. It was hearty, flavorful, and so filling that we even had some leftovers to take home. The atmosphere of the restaurant was another highlight. The space is beautifully designed, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. Above all, it’s the staff and their friendliness that truly stood out to me. They made the entire experience so enjoyable. I will definitely be going back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better service!

Lovely experience at The Peacock. Friendly service, special mention to Mahestra - advising and explaining the dishes to try - would definitely recommend the Lamprais!, but all of the food had a good tang and spice.
